Do you want to take your Parent Liaisons to the next level? Together we will review the federal requirements for Parent Liaisons and/or Title I, Part A paraprofessionals. We will collaboratively strive together to increase our effective utilization of these beneficial staffing resources utilizing the lens of human capital. We will look at ways to modify existing utilization models so that districts are achieving economies of scale to enhance student academic success, family engagement, and help close the educational achievement gaps. There will be practical implementation strategies and tools that can be used for hiring, on-boarding, training, and organizing the work of your Parent Liaisons and/or Title I, Part A paraprofessionals.

Title I, Part A Program Compliance Updates

This session will provide updates related to Title I, Part A Program Compliance.  Topics to be shared include the addition of program compliance self-check items to the 2025-2026 PR1000 – Title I, Part A Compliance Report; determining the Title I, Part A reservation amount for services to homeless children and youth; and common findings identified during program monitoring validation reviews.  The session will end with a showcase of the various resources available for establishing compliance with the Title I, Part A programmatic requirements.
